Ainslie Painting Co. started with one van, one ladder, and a simple idea — that a paint job should look this good and the person doing it should show up when they say they will.
Mount Ainslie watches over half of Canberra — you can see it from Braddon, Dickson, Reid and the lake. We named the business after it because it's a Canberra landmark, plain and simple, and because we're a Canberra business through and through: no interstate franchise, no call centre, just a local crew you can actually reach.
We started small, painting rental turnovers and a handful of first-home renovations. Word travelled fast because we treated every job — big or small — the same way: proper prep, premium paint, and a clean site every single afternoon.
Today we run a full residential and commercial painting operation across the ACT, but the standard hasn't changed. Every painter on our tools is an employee, not a subcontractor, and every job gets the same walkthrough at the end.
If we say Tuesday 7am, we mean Tuesday 7am. No chasing, no radio silence.
Sanding, patching and masking take longer than the paint itself — and it shows in the finish.
You see exactly what you're paying for before a single tin is opened.
We default to premium low-VOC paint and dispose of offcuts and tins responsibly.
Every job is run by one of our lead painters — not a rotating cast of subcontractors.
Runs the interior and heritage jobs, and does every colour consult personally.
Ten-plus years on ladders and lifts — handles every high-access exterior job.
Manages scheduling around business hours for offices, retail and strata sites.
